  Savings on Microwaves

As an alternative to using your oven, try to use a toaster or microwave, which only uses about one tenth of the electricity of a conventional oven.
Put food at the edge of the rotary tray rather than in the middle - your food will be ready in less time.
Boiling a pot of water is cheaper on the stove, but a single cup is still cheaper in the microwave.
Ovens, microwaves, and stove burners that are clean reflect and conduct heat better than dirty ones, which means reduced cooking times and less energy consumed.
